“This will be a very good competition for my current training, I’m going from the base circuit to the power block. We will be able to get good parameters to evaluate the work”, commented the swimmer from Porto Nacional in Tocantins. Italo will swim the 50m and 100m freestyle, 100m backstroke, 100m breaststroke and 200m medley and will represent SESI-SP.

The Paralympic meet is conceived and organized by the Brazilian Paralympic Committee (CPB) from 2021, with three disciplines: athletics, swimming and weightlifting. Each host city receives proof of at least one of these. The purpose of the meeting is to develop sports practice for people with disabilities in all regions of the country, to promote the technical improvement of competitors and to provide opportunities to compete for elite athletes and young parasports promises throughout Brazil.
