More than 2,000 students from 38 schools of the capital will participate in the event
The City of Boa Vista is hosting an event from September 12th through the 16th 1st Edition of Urban Education Network School Games, from 8:30 to 11:30 and from 14:30 to 17:30 in Roberto Marinho Olympic Village. 2110 students from 38 schools of the capital will participate in the event.
The sporting event was divided into two stages: a qualifying stage (selection of students within schools) and a final stage (the culmination of the project). There will be five days of sports, recreation and Paralympic programming with Primary 3 to 5 students aged 8 to 11 years.
“The city government, in its strategic planning, public policy, encourages and promotes educational sports in the municipality of Boa Vista and in recent years provides physical culture classes and sports activities in schools, contributing to the complete development of students enrolled in school. The first grades of elementary school,” said Mayor Artur Henrique.
